What’s New?

Redhead MTB Park receives funds through crowdsourcing campaign and state grants to expand. A fundraising campaign, Go Redhead, raised more than $60,000 for Phase II improvements to Redhead. This is in addition to funding from the Legislative-Citizen Commision on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR) in the amount of $1.66M, $500,000 from state legislative funding, and a matching $500,000 from the MN Dept of Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation, totaling over $2,726M. The funding will be used on added trail miles, trailhead additions and amenities, and connectors into the City of Chisholm. Work to begin in the summer of 2024 and is expected to go through 2026.
